Tanhayi Hi Apni Mehfil

Hasi ke peeche hazaaron aansoo chupa te chale

Dil mein ghum ka dariya sambhaalte huey

Na koi raasta...Na koi manzil

Hogaya kitna paraya apna hi dil

Umeed ki thi maine khushiyon ki

Ab toh woh kashtiyan bhi doob chuki hai

Har koi lagne laga hai paraya

Mujhse juda hochuka mera hi saaya

Darte hai hum khwabon se

Kahin phirse umeed na laga bhete apno se

Ab toh tanhayi hi apni mehfil hai

Ye soch ke har pal ko jiye jaa rahe hai

This is very close to me,Because it's the first ever hindi poem i wrote (when i was 17) & it's also the first poem in my poetry book Najane Kyun which consists of 107 poems by me. :)

Fear Of Love

Love has always been extremely confusing...& for some reason i find myself writing about love even when i don't want to.
Something i wrote a long time back about love & the fear many hold of expressing either because..they know the one they love belongs to another..or simply the fear of rejection.And sometimes despite showing love..they fear to express the depth of it..maybe because..they fear the love they have will be taken for granted or not appreciated ...i dunno..,

Sometimes even before letting love come through the door ...we reject it with fear of losing..but i believe..in gaining & losing at least you have the pleasure of gaining maybe for a short while but you still have it.. & it gives you a chance to say "I once had someone who loved me" rather than saying "Iv never had anyone who loved me"..So i say if love comes your way don't reject it.. that just reminds me of a few lines by Mr Javed Akhtar sang by Sonu Nigam "Chahe jo tumhein poore dil se..Milta hai woh mushkil se..Aisa jo koi kahi hai..Bass wohi sabse haseen hai..Uss haath ko tum thaam lo..Woh mehrabaan kal ho na ho"
A lovers mind holds so many unanswered questions...& many unasked answer's...The mystery of love i believe will go on till...The end of time,So let yourself free...into the world of loves mystery.



Dil toh bass chahe ek tujhe
Tere siwa na koi duja pyara lage
Phirbi najane kyun...
haal-e-dil bayaan karne se darte hai


Yakeen toh hai tujhpe
Phirbi najane kyun darte hai
Kahin tu dil na tod de
Kahin humein tanha na chod de


Paas aana chahe par qadam ruk jaate hai
Beetein lamhe yaad aajate hai
Mohabbat hai,ye toh kehte hai
Uski gehrai bayaan karne se..Dil ko rok dete hai


Tu na jaane ga ,hai tu kya mere liye
Shayad jaise woh hai tere liye..



Yakeen toh hai tujhpe

Kyun na todega dil..
Kyun na chodega humein tanha
Uske naam jo kardiya hai

Just sharing a piece of poetry with you that i wrote a few months ago i dont know what made me write it but i just picked up the pen & by the end of it this is what was left on the paper i didn feel the need to make any changes i just left it the way it was.Was going through some of my writings & as i came across this one the thought of sharing with you all came to mind.

Adhuri Kahani

Tu jo nahi teri yaad mein gumsum rehte hai

Aankhon mein tujhse milne ke sapne rehte hai

Paas aaye jab tu..Beetein lamhe sata ne lagte hai

Palkon pe ashk chalak ne lagte hai

Na janu main..Na jaane tu

Hota hai ye kyun...

Dil milke bichad te hai kyun

Kaisi hai ye mohabbat

Door rehke..Doorie na sahi jaaye

Paas aake paas raha na jaaye
Iss bebasi pe chalta na koi zor

Tootne se kaise roke ye pyar ki dor

Na janu main..Na jaane tu

Hota hai ye kyun...

Dil milke bichad te hai kyun

Rooh mein samaya hai tu

Apne hi rooh ko kaise juda karlu

Roshni se bhada kyun nahi rehta apna jahaan

Andhero mein apne pyar ko main dhundu kahan

Khone lagi kyun apni khushi

Pyar hote huey bhi,Kyun hai ye kahani adhuri

Na jaanu main..Na jaane tu

Hota hai ye kyun

Dil milke bichad te hai kyun.
